Meet JaiMarie Bardwell: 2026 JA Dallas Student of the Year

Every year, Junior Achievement of Dallas honors an outstanding high school senior with the title of JA Dallas Student of the Year—an award that recognizes leadership, service, and a commitment to academic and personal growth. For the 2025–26 school year, that honor goes to JaiMarie Bardwell, a senior at Irving High School, whose dedication to community impact and student advocacy set her apart from an impressive group of applicants.

JaiMarie has consistently demonstrated leadership both in and out of the classroom. As a participant in JA High School Heroes and a member of the Superintendent’s Council and Future Leaders of Irving, she has used her voice to advocate for student engagement, inclusion, and academic excellence. Through public speaking and collaboration with educators and district leaders, she has contributed to meaningful conversations aimed at improving the student experience.

As the JA Dallas Student of the Year, JaiMarie will speak at the Dallas Business Hall of Fame, presented by Ryan, on March 28, 2026, at the Omni Dallas Hotel. During the event, she will share her leadership journey, commitment to service, and future aspirations, including her plans to pursue a degree in radiation therapy and a career dedicated to helping others.

In recognition of her achievements, JaiMarie will also receive the Sandi Smith Scholarship, a $15,000 award that will support her continued education and leadership journey. Her story reflects the power of experiential learning, mentorship, and service—cornerstones of Junior Achievement’s mission to inspire and prepare young people for success in a global economy.
