JA in a Day® & JA Standard
JA Dallas In Classroom programs consist of JA In A Day, JA Standard, JA In The Classroom and JA High School Heroes. In this new virtual environment, we may not be "in the classroom" physically, but we have adapted so that company volunteers can still deliver these programs through Zoom. This program can be pre-recorded or live-streamed. In addition to corporate or community volunteers, this is a great way to increase parent involvement in classrooms.
JA in a Day® enables companies to present the entire elementary school curriculum over the course of five hours. Although the Junior Achievement curriculum is traditionally presented once per week for five weeks, this one-day event is a great way to impact the community while providing employees with a team-building and morale boosting experience. Volunteers present the interactive curriculum and make a significant impact in one day. Teachers see the benefit of having a business professional in their classroom for an extended time period to provide students with the JA experience.
JA In The Classroom is an engaging program where trained volunteers deliver a modified version of our interactive JA curriculum in a one day virtual format to high school students. Volunteers complete all lessons at designated times throughout the school day. In addition to corporate or community volunteers, this is a great way to increase parent involvement in classrooms.
Courses include JA Be Entrepreneurial, JA Personal Finance, JA Career Success, etc.
JA Standard is a delivery model where volunteers can virtually present the JA curriculum once a week for five weeks.
