JA YES Membership Opportunity
Dear Young Professionals of Dallas:
For over six decades, Junior Achievement (JA) has inspired and prepared students from underprivileged backgrounds to succeed in a global economy by teaching real-world lessons about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workplace readiness. As JA has grown, the organization has sought new ways to engage diverse, qualified talent to support its mission.
Our most recent program, Junior Achievement of Dallas Young Executive Society (JA YES), was developed for young professionals, such as yourself, to have an opportunity to join JA’s effort and help make an impact on local students.
How? It’s simple. JA YES provides young professionals with opportunities to:
- Directly interact with students through JA’s volunteer programs, including JA-In-A-Day and Finance Park
- Sponsor JA’s educational programs with an annual donation of only $66.
As an additional benefit, JA YES connects local young professionals and introduces them to some of Dallas’s most influential leaders in business, politics, and philanthropy through events such as the “Empower the Future Speaking Series.” Together, these opportunities create a unique organization where members not only improve the lives of underprivileged students, but also gain personal and professional development.
As a fellow young professional, I know how limited time (and money) can be, and I understand the difficulty of choosing the right organizations to support. But if you’re interested in empowering the most at-risk kids in our city while also networking with other young professionals and business leaders across the DFW area, then JA YES is the organization for you.
I, as well as the entire JA YES Board of Directors, invite you to learn more about our organization and ultimately join us in our effort to help Junior Achievement. By working together, we will not only have fun and grow as young professionals, but will also change the lives of local students. I hope you’ll join us!
Chairman, JA YES Board
